There it is. The first snow this winter. It's so beautiful. SO purdy. But it's a bit sad thinking that tomorrow night's dinner may be cancelled. I was looking forward to seeing a bunch of people, eating some good food, and just relaxing. For us, no problem. The festivities are planned for right across the street. But guests are coming from everywhere else and who knows how the roads will be tomorrow. If the temperature stays below freezing (as forecasted), then I think it just might be icy and not so good for people to be driving. I hope it ends up being okay.
Trip for Portland was cancelled 'cause we decided to not risk potentially dangerous driving conditions. I think we would have been okay but... sigh. It would have been nice to have gone away this weekend.
By the way, props to online shopping. I'm finding lots of good deals via the Internet. Although it doesn't seem like the brick and mortar stores are too crowded this year.
