Week 12: 174.2

Yay! A one pound loss from the previous week gives me over 25lbs lost in twelve weeks! AND, I was still able to get in my three runs. It looks like I'm starting to get a set workout schedule.

Monday: 3-mile run
Tuesday: Basketball
Wednesday: 3-mile run
Saturday: Long run

The other three days will either be a day for light cardio, weights, or rest. I'm still watching what I eat although today and yesterday was pretty bad. I went to an all-you-can-eat Japanese place in Federal way for a birthday. And another b-day celebration was at a casino's all-you-can joint today. I tried to be good both days but I know I took in far too many calories than I normally do. It's all good.

I'm thinking my weight goal is going to be 150lbs now. I'd like to get my tummy completely flat and ready for some six-pack transforming. That really is my goal physique-wise. I've always wondered what it would be like to have great abs. I think I'm on my way to that goal with continued discipline and hard work.

Dude! So proud of you! That's what I'm doing for lent also, not counting calories but trying to eat half of everything I get. It's freakni' hard! But knowing that you can do it and it's working for you that gives me a lot of hope. Take it easy man!

If I could do it, anyone can. You just have to think about the benefits health-wise. Last July, my doc was concerned about my high-blood. Today, he found I'm at normal levels! My cholesterol and blood sugar levels are great too! Just think... how much longer do you want to live? The better we are to our bodies, the longer we'll have in this world...
