These are gonna be some late nights...
I had a really great weekend. A couple of friends have a family beach house in Ocean Shores. They invited three couples to come out, relax, and just hang (since we haven't done that in awhile). We had a really good time together. The highlights from the weekend include:
1. Yahtzee - A dice game which I played as a kid. Couldn't believe this game was sitting in the shelf at the house. I showed my friends how to play and we had hours of fun!
2. Backyardigans - for the only baby who came along on the trip. DVD of this kid's show played over and over and over and over... and over and over... and over again. No worries - kept the little cutie preoccupied
3. Heart Attack - a fun card game. I'll have to post the rules another time.
4. Flying Kites - I haven't flown a kite since I was 8 years old. Now I have one of my own to fly whenever it's windy here in Seattle. Such a great feeling to control the flying beast.
Actually, the whole weekend was a huge highlight. Just when I thought I was out of touch with my ol' friends, a weekend like this come along to remind me that these people will be with me the rest of my life. School's taken up so much of my time and prevented me from hanging with these guys. I'm sure I'll have more time to see them once I'm eventually done with my degree. Off to bed I go...

Yikes - I'm Blind!
Seriously. This was all happening in the huge open space of the restroom. I saw this "scarred-for-life" vision through the reflection of the mirror. This fellow coworker of mine was in his tighty-whities, pants down to his ankles, and bright-ass "Powder" skinned legs right in my face. Frack. I was shocked, of course. But I just proceeded to the stand-up urinal and, without making eye-contact, said, "Hi Ron!" And he, with his chipper "no-care-in-the-world" voice, casually responded, "Hey there, Rodney."
I could hear him behind me picking up his khakis, tucking in his denim shirt, zipping up, and buckling his belt. I'd understand if he was changing outfits. But I saw no workout bag. There were no other clothes with him. He was simply finishing up using the bathroom. Did he just finish peeing like a four-year old? With his pants all the way down? Then somehow moved back six plus feet to work on tucking in his clothes? Why couldn't he have done this in a stall? What the heck? WHY DID I HAVE TO SEE THIS????????

New beginnings (again)
It's another new beginning for me. An era of trying to eat better to lose some weight, be healthy, and live longer...and prosperous. I'm thinking that, this time around, it's for real. Yo.

Haircut
Fast forward two hrs later. I had to cut my bloggin short 'cuz Alan was ready to "snip snip". Dude. He's good. Really nice and he cuts my hair the way it looks best. My best style is when it's short spikey/tussled looking (as Erwin's said). And Alan does it well... And cheaper than Sarah.
So I've got what I like to call... a "dilemma". Sarah's been awesome to go to but she costs anywhere between $30-40 (depending on her remembering to tell the receptionist what to charge). I love chattin with her everytime but... man... Alan's good - and only $23. Do I leave Sarah for another man? Okay... that sounds odd. What DO I do???
