Gotta prove my skillz

It's such a beautiful day out! That sun is just glaring down on us here in Seattle. This is why we love this city. We take those rainy days knowing that, right around the corner, ummm... eventually, is the beautiful days. We've got the water, the mountains, and all dem trees. This city can be so outstanding...

I'm sitting in my living room chillin with Nelly Furtado. Her concert is showing on one of these HD channels. And this is why I love this new TV.

I spent the last fifteen minutes conjuring an email to send to an instructor at Souuth Seattle Community College. She wants me to take a beginning computer course in order to take her Access class. Oh, c'mon. Really? I hope I don't have to... i hope my email to her shows that I got the right stuff...

Hello. Thanks for considering my request. I apologize for the late response but it's year-end at work and I've been completely swamped.

I have worked in accounting since January 1996. I graduated in December 2008 with a B.S. in Accounting from Central Washington University. I'm hoping your course will help me achieve a higher level of proficiency with Access. I've worked with Access 2000/2003 for years but I'd like to be properly educated on its features.

As far as my computer expertise goes, I feel very comfortable with various programs. I completed Accounting Information Systems (ACCT 455) at Central Washington University with a 4.0 during Fall 2007. I also scored a 4.0 in my Spreadsheets course (BUS 177) during Winter Quarter at South Seattle. My 13+ years of work experience has helped me become very familiar with all user-level aspects of computers.

I will register for the Beginning Computers (CSC 100) course if you deem it necessary. But I'm hoping you'll allow me to register for CTN 120 based on my past exposure to and experience with computers. Would you like me to take a test? I should be able to meet with you on Monday, April 6. I will be working during the day but I should be able to leave for a bit to meet with you. Please let me know if we can talk with you that day. I can meet anytime.

Yeah. Take that computer nazi...
